Varun Jain is an accomplished general manager and product leader with extensive experience across the technology and financial services sectors. As Executive Vice President, Enterprise Performance and Product Leadership at Gallagher Bassett, Varun is responsible for driving enterprise-wide alignment and execution across three strategic areas: Enterprise Product Leadership, Global Account Management, and Strategic Initiatives Implementation. He leads the development, management, and governance of key products, helps align product strategy and investment decisions across the organization, and oversees the implementation of high-priority global initiatives that advance Gallagher Bassett's strategic objectives. Varun also leads efforts to establish a global account management framework, strengthening coordination, accountability, and client experience across geographies and business units.
Previously, Varun served as Head of North America Claims Solutions, where he led the development and delivery of industry-leading claims solutions across medical management, pharmacy solutions, medical bill review, auto and property repair, litigation management, and Medicare compliance. In this role, he and his teams developed innovative solutions throughout the claims lifecycle to help clients prevent, manage, and overcome the impact of risk.
Prior to joining Gallagher Bassett, Varun held leadership roles across global technology, fintech, and financial services organizations. He served as Senior Vice President of Strategic and Product Partnerships at WorldPay, led global product and data science teams at OYO, and scaled Uplift's lending business as General Manager. Earlier in his career, he advised financial services executives as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and began his career on the equity derivatives team at Lehman Brothers.
