Pete Nicholson brings over 25 years' of global leadership experience across multiple continents and industries, including the last eight years in the insurance industry. He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Gallagher Bassett Australia for the last four years, having previously held Chief Financial Officer positions across Gallagher Bassett.
An energetic and authentic leader, Pete drives businesses growth and outcomes through a consistent, engaging and transparent approach. Pete brings deep expertise in global mergers and acquisitions and specialises in strategic planning and implementation. He has significant experience in managing major government partnerships and large-scale client relationships and is well connected within the insurance industry within Australia and internationally.
Under Pete's leadership, Gallagher Bassett Australia has achieved tremendous growth across all three of its divisions, Personal Injury, General Insurance and Disability. He works with a highly capable Executive and Senior Leadership team and an experienced and engaged workforce which have helped drive Gallagher Bassett Australia's success.
