Triage support to address needs and prevent or mitigate claims costs

Our early intervention process is focussed on connecting the injured worker and their employer to ensure they maintain contact regarding recovery and return-to-work planning while the claim is pending. Early intervention specialists can often assist to facilitate return-to-work before liability has been determined and are responsible for providing immediate support to:

• Employers, to help identify suitable duties
• Treating health practitioners, to establish functional capacity
• Injured workers, to establish support needs and identify biopsychosocial barriers.

Face-to-face support for recovery and return-to-work

Mobile Case Management is a team of mobile return to work specialists providing support to both injured workers and employers to improve return to work rates, promote collaboration, and restore relationship breakdowns, as well as to support and educate other stakeholders. Services provided by the team include:

• On the spot treatment approvals
• Return to work planning
• Support of medical review and communication with medical practitioners.
