Manan Sagar joined Gallagher Bassett in February 2024 as chief executive officer of the United Kingdom, with more than 20 years' experience across the insurance and technology sectors in the Americas, APAC and EMEA.
Passionate about the transformation of insurance, he has driven immense growth for Gallagher Bassett within his first 12 months as CEO. Mr. Sagar led the acquisitions of Caytons' Law (December 2024) to expand Gallagher Bassett's legal solutions, and W K Webster (February 2025) to enable the company to provide marine claims solutions for the first time. This expansion is reflected in Mr. Sagar's current role as CEO of Europe, Middle East and Asia.
His strengths in developing organisational culture, articulating strategic vision, and successfully growing businesses in a variety of global markets make him a valued member of Gallagher Bassett's global leadership team. A Qualified Chartered Accountant, Mr. Sagar's diverse experience ranges from leading M&A deals and insurance broking businesses to growing AI-powered SAAS platforms. Prior to joining Gallagher Bassett, he held leadership positions at Genesys, Fujitsu, Capita, Lockton and Willis.
