Katie Lamb is general counsel for Gallagher Bassett in Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA), with responsibility for the legal, compliance and audit functions. She has over 15 years' experience in the legal sector and insurance market and has gained a breadth of experience from holding key legal advisory, governance and regulatory compliance roles.
Katie commenced her career at Clyde & Co LLP, specialising in non-contentious insurance issues and corporate matters, including large, complex mergers and acquisitions in the insurance market. Transitioning to an in-house role at QBE, she continued to focus on non-contentious insurance matters, particularly corporate disposals. Katie then joined CNA Hardy, where she spent over nine years advising the business and senior leadership team on legal and regulatory matters. Her tenure included roles in legal, governance, compliance and product development, progressively advancing from legal director to assistant vice president.
Katie is a qualified solicitor, holding a bachelor's degree from Durham University.
