Gallagher Bassett Team Tackles Three Peaks Challenge

Swapping their desktop for mountaintops, a 30-person team from claims and risk management provider Gallagher Bassett recently completed the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising more than £30,000 for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

This significant contribution will provide personalised support for an entire year to more than 15 families across the UK who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. The Gallagher Bassett team undertook a physically demanding journey through the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. Completing the trek of over 25 miles and 5,249 feet of elevation in under 12 hours, the team demonstrated their commitment not just to physical endurance, but to making a significant social impact.

Manan Sagar, CEO of Gallagher Bassett UK, commented on the motivations driving the team's efforts:

"Our team was driven by a deep and personal commitment to make a tangible difference in the lives of families facing unimaginable challenges. These challenges are very close to home for members of our team, and the opportunity to help affected families was one we had to take up."

Gallagher Bassett's commitment extends beyond the physical challenge, with a pledge to match all funds raised by their team.
