Since 2016, Gallagher Bassett has successfully partnered with Unicorn to provide end-to-end claims management, overseeing approximately 3,600 claims each year across motor, liability, and large loss. In 2024, Unicorn challenged the Gallagher Bassett team of in-house technical and legal specialists with targets to manage claims leakage, to maintain credit hire and general damage costs below market averages and improve recovery outcomes whilst also continuing the development of anti-fraud measures.
To address evolving challenges in the claims lifecycle, including supply chain delays, the adoption of electric vehicles, and the increasing use of credit hire, Gallagher Bassett focused on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing settlement values, and improving third-party claim capture, all while maintaining a high level of service to the client and broker.
