Support Services

Additional Support

These programs are designed to support you during recovery, giving you the tools and support you need to heal. We encourage you to explore these resources and decide if they're right for you in consultation with your treating team. Your recovery journey is unique, and these programs are here to support you on your path to recovery under your worker's compensation claim.

Navigator Support Program

The Navigator Support Program (NSP) offers confidential telehealth support during injury recovery, connecting individuals with counsellors for guidance and care. It includes flexible check-ins and aims to help people regain confidence and return to health and work.

The Navigator Support Program provides mental health support for workers with physical injury claims. It includes support if treating team recommends it or if you request it.

Your consent is required to share your details with Navigator, who will then confirm eligibility and onboard you into the program.

IPAR Rethinking Recovery Program

This program is designed for workers with a musculoskeletal injury who have experienced pain for at least 12 weeks. Here's how it works:

  1. Your treatment team can recommend the program or you can request it.
  2. Eligibility is confirmed, based on your current pain management plan and consent to share details with IPAR.
  3. If eligible, IPAR will onboard you and monitor your progress throughout the program.

Internal Dispute Resolution Process

Gallagher Bassett's reconsideration process allows an injured worker who is unhappy with a decision made by Gallagher Bassett to apply for an internal review of the decision in question.

The review is conducted by a technical specialist who's independent from the original decision-making process within five business days from receipt of a request. The reconsideration takes into account all information available to us, including existing information on file related to the decision, along with any additional information accompanying this request. The reconsideration process is optional for injured workers and is a free service.

For Gallagher Bassett to review and reconsider a decision, complete the Reconsideration Request form below and return it and any accompanying documents to NTReturntoWork@gbtpa.com.au.
